Easy Smoothie Idea: Yogurt Cubes

Randall’s ran a deal a few weeks ago on Dannon Yogurt. I was able to get quite a bit of yogurt for cheap! Some was eaten, most was not. So it was getting pretty close to the expiration date and I didn’t want to let it all go to waste.

I got two silicone ice cube trays and froze the yogurt into cubes! You don’t have to use silicone ice cube trays, regular trays would probably work as well.

But now we have yogurt cubes ready to go anytime we want to make a smoothie!

This is such a great idea! I’ve tried freezing yogurt to thaw and eat later, and that didn’t work at all. I’ll have to do this next time!

I got the idea from a product (I forget which one) that you can buy the yogurt and berries pre-frozen and just dump the bag of stuff into the blender.

    It has been working great!!
