REMEMBER… to get your FREE Tinkerbell watch when buying the Combo Pack this week! It did take a while to find the watch though. I thought they would be by the movie, but no, they were with the regular Tinkerbell toys.

While it did take a good 20 minutes for the cashiers to figure out how to process the transaction, and had to call someone on the phone to help as well, I did get my copy of Tinkerbell! Here is the breakdown:

So basically, since I put down the $10 deposit to pre-order Tinkerbell, paid nothing today, and received a $10 Toys R Us gift card…. I have basically bought a $10 gift card and got Tinkerbell for free!

If you did pre-order Tinkerbell and are picking it up this week, but aren’t interested in Beauty and the Beast, go ahead and pre-order Beauty and the Beast anyway so you won’t have to pay anything else for Tinkerbell. Otherwise you will pay $4.99 for Tinkerbell.

Disney is cutting it close on this one, but the $10 off coupon for Tinkerbell & the Great Fairy Rescue has been released. The coupon does specifiy that you must buy the Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack.

The coupon expires October 3, 2010.

Yay! I, rather my daughter (but I love them too!), got my copies of Toy Story 1 & 2 in the Blu-ray/DVD combo packs!

Since I am still out of town and the nearest Toys R Us is about 45 minutes away, I took the Toys R Us ad to Wal-Mart and did a price match! I bought both copies (1 & 2), showed them the ad that stated if you bought both then they are $16.99 each and they honored it! Plus I used my $10 off coupons (one for each movie) that I got from Disney Movie Rewards!

When I got home, I got the Disney Movie Rewards codes (125 pts each) and entered them online and I was able to print out my vouchers for free tickets to see Toy Story 3 when it comes out in June! Now I just have to keep up with them until then : )

So to sum up… $13.98 for both Toy Story 1 & 2, plus $17.00 in movie vouchers to see Toy Story 3! $3.02 profit!

One thing to keep in mind, some Wal-Mart stores may consider this a “gimmick” ad since the price is different when you buy 2, rather than just buying 1. If that is the case, I would just politely thank them and leave without buying the movies there, then truck it on over to Toys R Us!
