Yay! I, rather my daughter (but I love them too!), got my copies of Toy Story 1 & 2 in the Blu-ray/DVD combo packs!

Since I am still out of town and the nearest Toys R Us is about 45 minutes away, I took the Toys R Us ad to Wal-Mart and did a price match! I bought both copies (1 & 2), showed them the ad that stated if you bought both then they are $16.99 each and they honored it! Plus I used my $10 off coupons (one for each movie) that I got from Disney Movie Rewards!

When I got home, I got the Disney Movie Rewards codes (125 pts each) and entered them online and I was able to print out my vouchers for free tickets to see Toy Story 3 when it comes out in June! Now I just have to keep up with them until then : )

So to sum up… $13.98 for both Toy Story 1 & 2, plus $17.00 in movie vouchers to see Toy Story 3! $3.02 profit!

One thing to keep in mind, some Wal-Mart stores may consider this a “gimmick” ad since the price is different when you buy 2, rather than just buying 1. If that is the case, I would just politely thank them and leave without buying the movies there, then truck it on over to Toys R Us!

I scored Monopoly and Connect 4 for a combined total of only $5 today!

Here is how:

I took this week’s Target ad to Wal-Mart and price matched Monopoly and Connect 4 for only $7 each.
-Used $5 printable for Monopoly
-Used $4 printable for Connect 4

Paid $5 + tax!! Yay!

By expertly reciting Target’s new price matching and coupon policies back to them, I scored some super cheap batteries. I also got a great deal on Ritz crackers, Del Monte canned veggies, and Campbell’s soups!

I had to go to Customer Service to do the price matching, so for Transaction 1 with the Duracell Coppertop Batteries here is how it went:

2 AA Duracell Coppertop batteries, 24 ct, $14.99 each
2 AAA Duracell Coppertop batteries, 16 ct, $9.99 each

Using the Family Dollar circular, which did not specify which size batteries, I was able to get each pack for $3.00 each! On top of that I had Target coupon for the batteries as well.

2 – $2.00 off AA Duracell batteries, 24 ct
2 – $1.50 off any Duracell batteries, 8 ct or more

Actual Retail Value: $49.96
Total OOP: $5.41

I had brand new cashier for transaction 2 (literally his first day), so I felt kind of proud of myself that I helped him learn how to do coupon transactions : )

Family Dollar’s ad offers all varieties of Duracell Batteries for only $3!! No quantity amounts per pack are given. So take the Family Dollar ad to Target and ask them to price match! Combine that with the $2 off 24-ct pack AA Duracell batteries coupon and the $1.50 off 8-ct pack or larger Duracell batteries coupon and you could be well stocked on batteries for holiday season!
