I recently found two coupon booklets on my shopping trip to Randall’s.
The first says “Save over $16 with these coupons.” It is small and says Summer Savings on it. Some coupons do not expire until December of 2011.
The second says “Over $70 in Savings.” It is a bit larger. I do not see any coupons that are good past December 2010. It is a great coupon booklet because it also includes coupons for Safeway brand items!
The booklets feature manufacturer coupons, which are good anywhere that accepts coupons. Also, the Safeway brand coupons are good at all Safeway affiliates: Safeway, Vons, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Randall’s, Tom Thumb, Pavilions, and Carrs.
If you are having trouble finding these booklets, make sure to ask Customer Service and they will try to help you find them.

Randall’s is running a promotion through tomorrow, August 31. When you buy any 3 participating juice products, you get 2 participating snack items for free! Here is the best scenario I have come up with:
6 – Mott’s Apple Juice, 64 oz., $2.00 each
2 – Pop-Tarts, 8 ct, 1.99 each
2 – Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, 8-10 ct, 2.49 each
Coupons:
3 – $2/2 Mott’s Apple Juice, 64 oz (MDA Coupon Booklet found in-store)
1 – $1/2 Pop-Tarts
1 – $1/2 Quaker Chewy Granola Bars
Total Before Coupons: $20.96
Total After Coupons: $4.00
And yes, you can use coupons on the Pop-Tarts and the Granola Bars even though they are free!

I apologize in advance for being soooo late in posting this, possibly too late, but I felt it needed to be shared.
When you buy $25+ worth of participating items (P&G products, but not all P&G products) at Randall’s, a coupon will print for $10 off the purchase of a gift card!
I did two transactions, first with Olay products, the second with Pampers products, so I wound up with $20 in coupons I could put toward a gift card!
It was a very difficult choice. I literally stood in front of the gift card display for probably 10 minutes, but I eventually chose a $25 Amazon gift card.
So, after the coupons, I scored a $25 Amazon gift card for only $5!! Woo hoo!! With no expiration date, I will probably save it until Christmas to buy gifts.

I have updated my Grocery Stores page to now include Randall’s. You can go HERE to check out how to save the most money at Randall’s.
I have also covered Target and Wal-Mart on that page as well!
WOW! I have a new favorite grocery store! I will admit, I used to think the big-box store was the way to go… I could not have been more wrong!
Back in my hometown, the big-box store was pretty much the only store to shop at because they basically ran everyone else out of business in such a small town. But now that I am here in a much bigger city, and have more choices, I am seeing the light!
Even after living here for over a year and half, I still thought the big-box store was the way to go; that was until I discovered that Randall’s (affiliated with Safeway) doubles and triples coupons! The first time I went shopping there, I was blown away by how much money I saved!!
While a lot of their items are still fairly expensive even with coupons, you just have to make sure you only buy what is on sale that week. I have only shopped at Randall’s four times so far, still only buying sale items, but I have been able to save 73% already!
Just to give you an idea, here is what I bought on my most recent trip to Randall’s:
2 – Annie’s Mac & Cheese
3 – Betty Crocker Mashed Potatoes
15 – Rice-A-Roni
3 – Quaker Instant Oatmeal
6 – Hershey’s Candy Bars
3 – Rosarita Beans
1 – Mission Flour Tortillas
2 – Sargento Sliced Natural Cheese
1 – Softsoap Pump Soap
2 – Fresh Express Lettuce
1 – Wishbone Salad Dressing
2 – Progresso Rich & Hearty Soup
1 – Nabisco Teddy Grahams
1 – Lance Peanut Butter Crackers
1 – Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 – Dannon Yogurt
3 – Lean Pockets
Actual Retail Value: $103.85
But, by using my Randall’s Card, store coupons, and manufacturer’s coupons all combined with the sale prices…
Total Out of Pocket: $25.37
While the big-box store still has a few good deals, most of my shopping from now on will be done at Randall’s!
