I went back to Walgreens this week for the great deal on kids toothbrushes and toothpaste. Since our family has been sick lately, it was time for new toothbrushes. I also did another deal with the Olay Lotion.

I went to Walgreens today and scored some major deals. Here is how I did it:

Two things to know though, one, I forgot to use the in-ad coupon for the gift bag which would have made it $0.10. Two, My Walgreens did not carry the specified size of the Colgate toothpaste, so they substituted a larger size for me. So if your Walgreens doesn’t have the exact size, ask if they will substitute another size.

Disgruntled Customers on a Walgreens trip

I went to Walgreens last night to buy a few things. I arrived and went about my shopping business. About half-way through checking out my items, a guy came up in line behind me. When he saw the stack of coupons I had handed the cashier, he let out a very loud curse word. I turned around to look at him, in disbelief, and he just shook his head at me. I was very polite and didn’t say anything. I thanked the cashier and walked away. As I was walking away I heard him mumble “It couldn’t have been that bad.” I assume he was talking about the prices of the items before coupons. That was my first memorable encounter with a disgruntled customer behind me in line. Oh well. Anyway, I ended up saving $22.78 after coupons and sales, so I am not at all bothered by his actions.

I only did one transaction and here is what I did:

Physician’s Formula is Clearanced at Walgreens!!

ATTENTION ATTENTION…. A Walgreens employee told me that all Walgreens are discontinuing the Physician’s Formula make-up line. She graciously showed me the display and to my delight EVERYTHING was marked drastically down! I didn’t have any Physician’s Formula coupons with me at the time, but I told her I would certainly be back!
